Weight

We are working on the topic of weight this week and into next week.  We are talking about how we measure the weight of objects using scales.  The students will be looking at items and determining if they are heavier or lighter and then measuring to determine if their estimations were correct.  You can bring this science/math lesson home by showing them scales in your house and at the grocery store. Talk about things you see as you drive and if they might be measured in ounces, pounds, or tons.
