Mount Rushmore

Last Friday we looked at the wonders of Mount Rushmore.  This memorial is gigantic.  We learned that it takes six Statue of Liberty's laying side by side to reach from one side of the Presidents' heads to the other.  We also compared the Statue of Liberty's nose to that of George Washingon's on the mountain.  His nose is 11 feet tall compared to her 4 feet.  The kids pointed out that they could crawl around inside that huge nostril.  Yucky!
